For data protection purposes, MOUVE by Dancing with Louise is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect

When you complete our party enquiry form, we collect:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Child's age range (Ages 1-3, 3-4, 5-7, or 8-10)
  • Preferred party date (optional)
  • Free-text message (optional)

Important: We only ask for your child's age range. We do not collect your child's name or personal data through this form.

3. How we use your data

  • Respond to your enquiry and communicate about party availability, pricing, and next steps
  • Provide customer support and answer your questions
  • Keep internal records of enquiries so we can follow up appropriately
  • Improve our service and processes

We do not sell your data to third parties and do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in separately.

4. Lawful basis for processing

Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, provide information you request, manage bookings and customer service, and run our business efficiently.

Consent — by submitting the enquiry form, you consent to us using your information to respond. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).

5. How your data is processed

When you submit the enquiry form:

  1. Your submission is sent to our workflow automation system via a secure webhook
  2. The enquiry is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted with Supabase (EU — Frankfurt, Germany)
  3. An email notification is sent to our team via Google Workspace so we can respond promptly
  4. We may cross-reference your email against our existing customer database to provide better service (e.g. to recognise returning families)

6. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only where necessary. Our trusted service providers include:

Vercel

Hosting & CDN

Supabase

Database (EU)

Google Workspace

Email notifications

We also use Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, and Tailwind CSS CDN for styling. These may collect limited technical information (IP address). We do not use them to track you.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the UK. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or other lawful mechanisms recognised under UK GDPR.

8. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including access controls, secure credentials, and limiting access to those who need it for legitimate business purposes.

9. How long we keep your data

We keep party enquiry data for up to 24 months from the date of your enquiry. After this period, we delete or anonymise the data unless we need to keep it longer for legal or regulatory reasons.

10. Children's data

Our enquiry form is intended for parents and guardians. We do not ask for a child's name or contact details — only a child's age range so we can recommend an appropriate party format.

If you include personal information about a child in the optional message field, please keep it minimal and only share what is necessary.

11. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of your data
Rectification — correct inaccurate data
Erasure — request deletion of your data
Restriction — limit how we process your data
Objection — object to legitimate interest processing
Portability — request data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at parties@makeamouve.com.

12. Cookies and analytics

This page currently does not set analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
